Regarding its performance, Bigasoft ASF Converter managed to convert a 1-minute MKV file into ASF in less than 30 seconds, which isn't bad. The conversion process will take longer if your target format uses a resolution of 720p or higher, though.
In conclusion, this application can be used as a general-purpose converter because it doesn't limit the formats that you can open and it has good output format support. There are also conversion profiles for many devices. The graphical user interface is original and it is functional, which is always a plus for me.
