Bigasoft WMV Converter 

Bigasoft WMV Converter is a commercial video converter. One of the reasons why you would need a converter like this is if you have Microsoft multimedia playback devices, like the Zune, or maybe an Xbox 360. Those devices are notorious for their lack of format support. The one format that they will always support is WMV, Microsofts proprietary codec. So, if you need to convert an MKV, AVI, or MOV file to play it on your Zune, this application can be of use to you.

During my time with this app, I converted an AVI file into the default WMV conversion profile. The video was 1-minute long, but the trial only converts half of your files. So, to convert 30 seconds of video, the app took 4 seconds, which is pretty fast. The quality of the video was very good and I didn't detect any video or audio problems. There is a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and adjust some of their properties.

It should be noted that this converter can also convert files into formats other than WMV. In fact, there is an extensive list of conversion profiles for Apple devices, gaming consoles and the like.
