Bing Desktop is a small application intended to decorate your desktop using wallpaper images downloaded from Bing. This uses a free service provided by this popular Microsoft search engine, which supplies users with attractive pictures. Although it is true that the images do not have a superb resolution, they are quite appropriate to serve as wallpapers. In addition, it shows a search box that allows you to start a Bing search right from your desktop. However, Bing may not be the preferred search engine for many users.
The application has a nice interface, which is at the same time very easy to use; in fact, it will require practically no interaction with the user. Thus, it can be set to run automatically at Windows startup and remain hidden as a background process.
In general, Bing Desktop has an advantage of automating a process that would otherwise require your attention and a few minutes of your daily life. Unfortunately, it has the limitation of being restricted to download from Bing, unlike other similar applications supporting a wider range of source sites.
