Bitvise SSH Server is a utility that provides users the means to access their personal computers remotely. It comes with support for virtual accounts, Windows groups, and server-side forwarding.

Its interface looks decent and it's comprised of the main tab and a content area for displaying page information. It has no skin themes or advanced customizations. Yet, the main screen is quite intuitive and hides no secrets for networking based users. The only noticeable con is the button's clunkiness at times.

Bitvise SSH Server lets users start and stop the server and configure its settings, password cache, and host key pairs. If you're stuck, you can click the question mark icons to learn more about every configuration aspect.

Next, you can find detailed information about your sessions, like connection time, client version, account type, or remote IP address. Moreover, it includes useful options, such as session disconnect, IP block, or manage blocked IPs.

Another interesting feature is the Git integration, an option that enables users to configure the path to their Git binaries and repositories.

All things considered, Bitvise SSH Server is a useful tool for managing Windows servers remotely. It has lots of various features, and they do work well, but I find its cost to be a bit overpriced.

v6.0 [Jul 13, 2013]
- Fixed a command line parsing issue which prevented quoted parameters from working properly. Commands such as 'bvRun -brj -cmd="..."' now work correctly again.
- Fixed logging of superfluous warnings related to firewall management, configuration synchronization, and password cache.
- Fixed an issue which caused IPv6 bit masks to not be generated correctly when significant bits wasn't a multiple of 16.
