Boilsoft Ringtone Converter is a Mac application designed to generate ringtones for various mobile phone models. The program works with a wide variety of video and audio formats, supports batch processing, and immediately converts the input files to the selected formats.
This utility helps you extract soundtracks from your favorite movies or music videos, lets you choose between 6 output profiles (AMR, M4A, MP3, M4R, OGG, and WAV), and offers you a couple of output settings (selecting bit rate, channel type, etc.). You also have access to a built-in audio player where you can pre-listen the created ringtone.
In my testing, the application offered me quality output files in just a few moments. Plus, it preserved the quality of the input files.
The only thing that seems not to work at all is the option to remove the input files from the processing list. Whenever I click the - button, the app suddenly crashes.
Another thing I noticed while testing this program is that it lacks options to add audio effects to the input files. For example, other ringtones creators let you add Fade-In and Fade-Out audio effects to the created phone tones.
Nevertheless, the application provides you with quality output files and is very simple to use. So, I think Boilsoft Ringtone Converter is worth a try.
