Boilsoft Video Joiner is a Mac utility that enables you to merge your favorite clips into a single file. This application supports a wide variety of video formats, features an intuitive interface, has simple-to-configure output settings, and preserves the quality of the input clips.
All you need to do is import the videos you wish to merge, choose an output format, and the program will do the rest. If you want, you can customize the settings of the selected output profile according to your needs. The application lets you choose the preferred video bit rate, audio channel type, clip frame rate, etc.

Unfortunately, the application comes with an important disadvantage: it takes a while to join the input videos. In my testing, I imported 2 clips (each with maximum 1 minute duration). The utility took almost 10 minutes to merge the videos. Hence, you will need to wait a while if you wish to join long movies with this program.
So, in my opinion, you should look for different video merging utilities for your Mac.
