BookCAT is an application focused on managing small and big book collections, and creating a complete database with many details about the books you have. This powerful application is a great solution for those who want to create and maintain a complete inventory perfectly organized and easily manageable.
You can now manage all your books; it doesn't matter if you have just a few or thousands, with this application you will have a complete record of each one of them. All details of any book can be recorded. For example, you will be able to enter data like: publisher, printed by, type, country, language, series, dimensions, genre, awards, web links, synopsis, reviews, cover images, etc.
Moreover, once you have entered all the books you have, the program gives a wide range of search possibilities. For instance, you can search books by country, or series, or edition, etc.; therefore, if you are an administrator of a vast library you will be able to find any book in an easy and fast way. Another good feature is that you will be able to export your database to four different file formats: HTML, iPod notes, text, and XML
This new version (9.1), allows you to add new records of books by downloading all the necessary information from popular bookstores like Amazon; and in this way, you will save a lot of time when adding new records. Besides, some exporting errors, and problems with the global search have been fixed.
