Box life is a puzzle platformer type of game, to be more precise this is a metroidvania platformer. Having a metroidvania style of game means that in order to progress through levels of the puzzle the user needs to put a lot of effort for that to happen. For example, when the game starts the user can't even jump, but if the user looks around it will find a power ability that will allow him to jump. Later the user can even use a fireball cannon to blast away at obstacles blocking his path.
