Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 is the sequel to the 2005 game with the same name. The game is endorsed by Brian Lara, a famous West Indies cricket player. However, this is the only real name Codemasters has, because EA has the ICC license for the players' names. However, BLIC does have licensing for all the ICC World Cup stadiums and trophies. In fact, you can play the ICC World Cup, test matches, one-day matches, Twenty20 and ICC champions games. There are also some training modes to practice bowling, batting and fielding. The games graphics are starting to look their age, and they don't really do well with the game. However, the camera views and the commentators are superb. The main downside of this is that the game-play is just too easy. There is no real challenge in the game. Also it does little to explain the rules of the game. So it doesn't allow non-cricket fans to start playing that easily. BLIC is a solid cricket game, and cricket fans are sure to enjoy it, but this is not the game for casual gamers. As this is a Codemasters game, you can get it through the Steam distribution system.
