Brilliant Database Professional 9.4

Brilliant Database Professional is a program that enables you to design database applications. You can create usual invoicing, inventory, people, projects management databases and CRM projects. The program comes with a form editor, query editor, formula, script, timers, data exporting and importing editors.

Improvements:
- Maximum number of folders per folder is increased up to 512;
- Maximum number of records per folder is increased up to 2 000 000;
New system variables:
- [$_mydocs] - to get path to the current user"s "My Documents" folder;
- [$_temp] - to get path to the temp folder. This folder will be cleaned automatically after the software stop;
- [$_server date] - to get the current date on a server computer;
- SMTP sender is updated - it works faster and stable;
- Query results layout in main window can be configured (list and form or list only);
- New format options: FSTR and LSTR - adding leading and finishing symbols to a string. E.g. [$numb^text LSTR.10] will return ".....12.34";
- Flag fields can be formatted. E.g. replace default 0/1 with "Yes/No" or "Good/Bad";
- Date charts are improved;
- "Update folder properties from another database" synchronization option is added;
- Visibility rule for labels is added;
- The "Create a recordset by selecting record(s) from another recordset" action supports custom table style configuration;
- The "Sort records in a recordset" action is added;
- The "Clone records" action can be configured (set records to clone);
- Administrator can reset user password in case if user forgot his password;
- Drop-down field can be refreshed by the "Refresh field" action;
- Popup menu script of a record can be executed one time only for all selected records at once. Use the [$recs] recordset variable for this;
- New action "Operation with Links" is added. It allows to work with simple links between records (add, delete, get list);
- Import/Parse designer is improved. Now it shows parsed values and errors "on air";
- Relation lookup field shows multiline text now;
- Toolbar Editor, "Clone Button" option is added;
- Brilliant Database Ultimate, "Hide the "Clone Folder..." menu item" option is added;
- Brilliant Database Ultimate, possibility to hide a folder in the compiled application is added ("Folder->Access Levels->Additional");
Fixes:
- Reconnect screen, "Ok, Cancel" buttons are visible now;
- Export to Word/HTML bug with calculations and formatting is fixed;
- Editing a User Function from 2 different script designers bug is fixed;
- Compiling into exe with hidden queries error is fixed;
- Sort and Filter at the same time bug is fixed;
- Many-to-many, error 387 is fixed;
- RTF Field tomlbox on all sheets bug is fixed;
- RTF to RTF field conversion bug is fixed;
- Query results in small window with only one record. The record can not be selected. The bug is fixed;
- Run query editor on a database without queries bug is fixed;
- Several fields with same ID on one form bug is fixed;
- User passwords, case sensitivity bug is fixed;
- Problem with the ".tmp" extension of template files is fixed;
- Date charts, the problem with day interval is fixed;
- Run External Dll, "Dll not found" bug is fixed;
- Report Styles, Color Rules automatically applied to other elements bug is fixed;
- Create a simple link to a record, delete the record - the link still exists bug is fixed;
- v8 Queries compability option is added (View->advanced->Additional...). It excludes changes in current record from a query results;
- [$_server date] and [$_server time] variables now ping and shows real server time;
- Problem with printing bordered fields on paper edges is fixed;
- Problem with printing RTF field content on header or footer is fixed;
- Execute Query, User Input doesnt work sometimes - fixed;
