Brorsoft DVD Ripper is a complete DVD conversion tool. It can load your movies from either a DVD disco, a folder on your Mac or an IFO/ISO file. With your movie loaded, you will see a list of all the DVD titles that make up the movie. Usually the longest title is the main movie title. This is the one that you have to select if you want to convert the entire movie. Before converting this title, you can use the built-in video editor to touch up the image a bit, to trim it or crop it, or add watermarks. The editor also has the ability the replace the audio track of a file. If your movie has subtitles or a second audio track, you can choose which one you want to use.
After you have done all of the above, you can proceed to the format drop-down menu. Here, you will find all the available output formats conveniently grouped into categories. If you are converting to a specific format, you can simply look under Common Video or Common Audio, which contain all the formats. If, on the other hand, you are converting a movie to watch it on a specific device such as an iPad, you will be happy to know that there are conversion profiles (which are preconfigured conversion settings) for a variety of devices, the iPad and all the Apple devices included.
The feature that sets this ripper apart from similar commercial applications is its video editor. It lets you convert 2D movies to 3D with two different effects and it has audio replacement features. It also plays the titles quite smoothly.
