Most of the family historians, genealogists or family researchers are facing problems in managing and organizing the information found during their research work. Many of them use papers to file this information, while others use computer programs like Word/Excel to store it. The research, reporting and record-keeping are difficult in both cases. Brother’s Keeper is a genealogy program developed to ease the task of organizing and reporting family history information.
With Brother’s Keeper you can collect the date and place of an individual's birth, marriage, and death, and store the relationships of individuals to their parents, spouses, and children. You can also attach sources to different events and can attach pictures/multimedia files to each individual. With Brother’s Keeper you can export and import Gedcom files.
Brother’s Keeper is an excellent program which allows you to print a wide variety of charts and reports, like ancestor’s charts, descendant box charts and tree charts. It also enables you to view lists of birthdays or anniversaries, family group sheets with pictures, custom-designed lists, timeline and many similar lists. This great program for managing family information is free to try.
