There are few key combinations for taking screenshots of websites on your Mac (for instance, Command+Shift+4). Unfortunately, not always you will get the accurate results you need since the final snapshots may not reveal the entire webpage or the font can be way too small. One solution for taking full-length screenshots of webpages comes from BrowseShot.

The program comes with an integrated web browser. By having access to this feature, you gain extra time since you no longer need to open your default browser to provide the website you wish to capture.

All you need to do is go to the webpage you wish to save and click the button looking like a camera. The application will immediately save a PNG file to the selected destination folder.

BrowseShot supports only one output format (PNG). One solution to save the webpage image to another format is to open the screenshot with Preview, Mac's default photo viewer, choose the Export option and select the preferred file extension (JPEG, TIFF, etc.).

All in all, BrowseShot proves to be a reliable solution for capturing full-length screenshots of websites. Plus, it's free of charge.
