Budget Workbook is a very simple application that allows you to keep track of your expenses, so you can know how your money has been spent. To record a transaction, you just need to enter the amount spent, date, company or name of the shop, object or service bought or paid for, and the category it belongs to. The program comes with an extensive list of categories, but you can create more. You can see all your transactions on the Transaction list by date, or you can also show the data by daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly transactions. Moreover, the program comes with a series of reports that you can print for a certain period of time customized by the user.
You can search transactions by entering a keyword or filter them by a specific period of time. All the views support printing and you can also export your transactions to other formats. Sadly, the user interface isn't very attractive, but at least it is intuitive and easy to use.
To conclude, if you need an application to keep track of your expenses in a simple and clear way, Budget Workbook may work for you.
