In today's environment, in which almost all of our activities are carried out online, having virus protection is a must. BullGuard Antivirus is a program that gives you several levels of protection.
The first is, of course, the Antivirus feature, that offers three different types of scans: Full Quick, and Custom. Also, the program has a Vulnerabilities monitor that detects threats immediately. Another function is the Game Booster, which, as its name implies, optimizes your system's performance so you can play video games without any hassles.
The program also has other self-explanatory functions, such as Firewall, Backup, PC Tune-Up, Parental Control, Security Browser, and BullGuard VPN. Unfortunately, I couldn't test these features, since they are disabled in the shareware version.
The functions I tested ran very fast and in an unobtrusive manner. In general, the antivirus scan was quick, and although it slowed down my system a bit, this was not an issue. Please take into account that to use the Game Booster function, you need a 4-core CPU. Otherwise, it will be disabled.
In general, I found that this is a good antivirus with an affordable price tag. You may want to give it a try.
To use the program, you need to create an account using a valid e-mail address. You can use the shareware version for 15 days. If you like the program and want to use all its features, then you will need to purchase a license.
