Solitaire is one of the most popular card games. This program is a virtual version of it that features a huge amount of variations.
At startup, the program shows a Tip of the Day, which helps you to familiarize with the program's characteristics. Then you can select among many different types and subtypes of games. For example, the Spider category comprises more than 20 different variations of the game. Also, if you don't know the rules of any given game, you can access to them by clicking on the corresponding button of the toolbar.
The program has different customizable options. For example, you can turn on/off the sound, choose among different card backs and faces, change the background surface, and many others. Some of these characteristics are built-in, while others need to be downloaded and installed. You can do so directly from the Options interface.
An interesting feature is that you can modify the rules of any given game to make it easier or more challenging. Thus, you can adapt the game to suit your needs.
The trial version is functional during 30 days, and only allows you two shuffles in some of the variations. Also, your results will not be recorded in the statistics. If you want to get rid of these limitations, you will need to purchase a license.
