Calibrize is an excellent tool for calibrating and adjusting the colours of your monitor. It's easy to use and provides a real-time preview of the changes you make. The three sliders for the red, green and blue channels allow you to fine-tune your settings, and the gamma correction tools give you even more control. Once you're happy with the results, you can save your settings and apply them to your PC. Highly recommended!

I recently was needing an application like this, but I couldn't find any. Now, I tried it with my manually-calibrated monitor, and it worked considerably well. However, it is up to you to provide good feedback for the application to set your colors. Once you do carry out the procedure, the application will make sure that colors look the way you want them to look throughout your system. You shouldn't really have any mismatching colors laying around. The application has pretty few guidelines on how to get the product to achieve the best results, but once you figure it out, this could be of considerable help. It is also free.
