CDL Prep is a reference application developed by Jeffrey Diaz. Free to download and use, this app allows users to prepare for the Commercial Drivers License exams. It contains questions that you might encounter during the exam proper, including topics such as General Commercial, Air Brakes, Combinations, and Hazmats.

There are more than 500 questions to practice within the CDL Prep app. The app even allows you to track your performance on every question you answer. However, the questions have a few spelling and grammar errors. Moreover, as it is free, ads constantly pop up as you practice.

What is CDL Prep?

CDL Prep is an exam prep app that allows you to prepare for the general knowledge and various endorsement exams for the CDL permit test. As mentioned, it lets you practice by providing you with questions that you might encounter on your CDL permit examination. There are over 500 questions available in the app, and some of them are exactly the same as the questions given on the exam proper.

The app comes with a practice mode, where you receive instant feedback if you answer incorrectly. There is also an exam mode that you can use to prepare for the real-life test. Here, you have 60 minutes to answer 50 random questions. In the end, you can review your score and any incorrect answers. In this mode, you can also opt to answer 20 to 30 questions within 40 minutes.

CDL Prep reviews your performance on every question. Red means you have an average score of less than 70%, while orange means you have a score between 70-89%. Finally, green means you have an average score of 90% and above. Users should note that the questions are not always in the same position.
