The action is based on a mini game that was first introduced in Sonic adventure when players were charged with hatching a Chao. This fan game takes the concept a bit further and provides players with plenty of opportunities to raise and interact with their very own cute and cuddly Chao.
One of the cool things about Chao Resort Island is that players have the chance to interact with many of their favour characters from the Sonic sagas. In addition to the blue spiky haired hedgehog himself, Knuckles and Shadow also play starring roles and can even be selected as playable characters.
