Chicken Invaders 4: Ultimate 4.20

Chicken Invaders 4: Ultimate Omelette Christmas Edition is a simple but entertaining game. The premise is simple and like the other Chicken Invaders games: chickens are the enemies, and you shoot them down in your spaceship. The plot is easy and is presented clearly, but the main part of the game is not the plot - the main part is shooting chickens and leveling up. If you want a game with deep meaning, this game is not what you're looking for. But that's to be expected from a game called Chicken Invaders, and this game is pure fun.

The graphics are fantastic and don't take too much power from the computer; it ran smoothly on my Macbook. The music is also great as always, this time it is based off of common Christmas songs to give the right atmosphere. Along with that, the chickens are dressed festively and you have to avoid Christmas ornaments or your spaceship will blow up.

I started up the game planning on only testing it out, but ended up getting sucked in and playing for an hour. It's easily addictive, the challenges are good but by no means too difficult (although if you want to change your difficulty level in the game you can, there's Rookie, Veteran and Superstar Hero). I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys silly and humorous arcade games.Chicken Invaders 4: Ultimate Omelette Christmas Edition is a fantastic game.
