Clean Disk is intended for removing unnecessary data from your system. In this respect, the tool automatically finds different types of files, such as logs, caches, localizations and emails. The application has a straightforward interface with three tabs. Fortunately, users can get enough information about the purposes and procedures from the application window itself.
The tool is extremely easy to use. In fact, you can leave it all to its automatic cleaning feature, which is available from the first tab. Just press the Auto Clean button. After a while, you can get information as how much cache, logs and mail downloads could be cleaned. Unfortunately, there is no way to know what you are actually deleting or to choose some of the found items only.
The second tab is called Guard Privacy, which eliminates the logs of downloaded files. The third, in turn, allows entering advanced mode and erase the data stored on your disk the last time your computer hibernated. Likewise, you can remove support files left over after uninstalling applications. What is more, it can even erase unnecesary localization files, which is not commonly supported by other similar tools.
All in all, Clean Disk can recover precious storage spaces and enhance system performance by eliminating various types of unwanted data. Its main limitation is it does not allow much control of the cleaning process. So, if you do not mind the drawback, the product is free to use.
