ColorSnapper2 is a program that comes as an alternative to using Mac's Digital Color Meter application for identifying color codes. Unlike Mac's default utility, this app supports a wide variety of code formats, automatically copies the identified color codes to your clipboard, and helps you manage your favorite shade codes with minimum effort.
The application lives in your Menu Bar from where you can access the Color & Formats screen, the Preferences panel, history log, etc. You don't need much computer experience in order to work with this program as it's very intuitive. Plus, the app works pretty fast and uses minimum CPU resources while operating in your Menu Bar.
Another important advantage is the fact that it helps you keep track of your favorite color codes. It also keeps a log of all recently identified color codes and displays them in its main menu.
Furthermore, you can define multiple shortcut keys which help you immediately complete various types of tasks in ColorSnapper2.
To be honest, I can't find a single bad thing to say about this program. It's very efficient, easy-to-use, and affordable.
