COMODO Internet Security is a wonderful application that allows you to protect your computer against any external or internal attack including viruses, Trojans, hackers, or any malicious software that could harm your system. The program is fully customizable and provides you with two utilities: Antivirus and Firewall. You can install either both of them or as a standalone application one of them. The user interface is really intuitive and easy to use, and allows you to easily enable or disable any part of the firewall with one click. The Firewall will allow you to control which application can have Internet access, create specific rules for each of them, monitor your connection traffic in real time to detect any security leak, among many other useful things. This version also includes a new feature called the Host Intrusion Prevention System that has the ability to protect your PC against unknown threats, as well as some changes in the user interface. The program will display alerts every time an application tries to access the Internet, so you will have full control of your programs and detect any fraudulent or unwanted uses. What is more, it offers you a PC Clean mode that will scan your PC for applications and register them as safe, so you don't have to approve them all the time.
The Antivirus will scan your computer and delete the found threats and viruses if you want.
It supports Windows XP and Vista.
