Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 is a video editing application that allows you to create high-quality videos either by capturing videos from external devices, by scanning a DV tape, by importing them from a memory disk or by creating screen capture videos.
The tool offers complex editing tools and functions that can be manipulated to obtain high-quality videos. Moreover, it supports the incorporation of voice-over, subtitles and audio tracks.
Once you have decided to work on a new project, you can start creating a video by selecting one of the capturing modes offered in the "Capture" section on the main window. Afterward, you can edit the video using the options available in the "Edit" section, which will help you make your video perfect. You can type a text within the video, you can add or remove slides, add a subtitle or an audio track. For all the elements you attach to the video, you will be able to define their timeline, meaning that you will be able to set each element to appear at a precise time in the video so that they can be synchronized with the images and the representative moments the video presents.
After you have finished editing the video, you can access the third section of the tool called "Share". This function will allow you to either upload the video on a web page, transfer it on a DV camcorder or burn it on a disc. Furthermore, you can convert the video file into other file formats, such as avi, mp4, wmv, etc.
All in all, Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 offers complex functions for users who wish to create and edit videos. The tool can be used by both advanced users and beginners through its well-organized interface and reliable functions.
