Corona is an accounting application that helps you manage your business and personal finances. It allows you to create different journals, such as bank journals, invoices and general journals among others. You can keep track of any type of transaction you want very easily. Unfortunately, the program is not very intuitive, but it includes sample files, so you can view how to use it and there is an extensive help file explaining all the things you can do with the program. All the journals offer different options and different layouts that you can customize according to your needs.
All the information you include in every journal can be easily printed, exported and saved in multiple formats. You can also protect certain journals with a password and use contacts from you Address Book. Moreover, you can customize job lists and prices, so you can have them ready to use when you need them. There is a search field to look for the journals by keywords and there is also a great variety of ready-to-use reports that you can print with your accounting information. Sadly, the user interface isn't very attractive, as it looks a bit old.
To conclude, Corona is a comprehensive accounting tool which has lots of things to offer. However, I really expected a more attractive and intuitive user interface for its high price, so I suggest you consider other options before buying this program,
v4.7
The "Checks to Print" list is combined with the "Bills to Pay" list. When an item is dropped onto the "Checks to Print" list, Corona enters the check to the check register as it includes the item for print. The main window's font-size adjustment is application-wide, providing improved readability. The Year End... command's file save prompts have been edited for clarity. Reviewed and improved coding of account number popups on all transaction entry panels. Implemented drag and drop from Account Chart to Bank Entry panel.
