If you're a sucker for crosswords, then you'll probably need something like Crossword Downloader installed to make sure your brain keeps ticking over with new challenges.
Crossword Downloader downloads crossword files that have dates included in their filenames for a given time span. It uses several different sources including the Houston Chronicle, thinks.com and Daily Dilbert although if you find your own source of crosswords, you can add that too much in the same way as you would add an RSS feed to an RSS reader. The problem however is that it only downloads in PUZ format meaning you need an external editor that can handle PUZ in order to fill them in.
Although the default sources are in English, you could add crosswords in any language - Crossword Downloader does not discriminate based on language. Crossword Downloader isn't a fancy app but it does it's job well. It would however be nice to be able to preview crosswords, or even have a password searcher to locate crosswords on the net.
Crossword Downloader is a simple application that all crossword addicts will find use for.
