This utility for HDD/SSD provides support for the S.M.A.R.T. monitoring system. The software is capable of providing a comprehensive breakdown of your computer's S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) data, along with the current temperature and health status.
CrystalDiskInfo is a utility created to help you prevent data loss due to hardware issues. This program will constantly monitor the health status of your disks and determine the causes of possible malfunctioning in the future.
Once the application is launched, it automatically starts collecting details about your disk's status. It takes a matter of seconds to provide you with a complete report containing the current health status (in my case, it was GOOD), technical information about your disk, temperature, and a list of attributes.
This program also gives you access to detailed graph representations of multiple disk attributes. You can find them by accessing the main menu of the utility.
A thing you need to take into consideration before downloading and installing this utility is the fact that you might need at least basic knowledge of what the monitored parameters mean.
Even though the application lacks options to export and print the offered reports, I still think it's worth giving it a try on your PC. It provides you with detailed information regarding the current health status of your disk and comes without a price tag.
