WonderWebWare CSS Menu Generator is a program to create drop-down menus without the need of writing any code. By using a WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) approach, you can interactively generate horizontal and vertical menus either building them from scratch, or by using any of the included templates. These can then be customized according to your needs.
You can add new items to your menu, or change the existing options. Every aspect of the menu can be modified, such as colors, font settings, transparencies, links, and everything else. You can preview the menu in Internet Explorer as many times as you need, until you are satisfied with it. Then, you can copy the CSS and XHTML code and paste it into the code of your own web page.
The free version of CSS Menu Generator is fully functional, but you are only allowed to insert the generated menus in your own private (non profit) sites. Should you want to use them on commercial sites, you are required to purchase the professional version, which also allows you to use the PLUS menu templates included into the program.
v4.0 [Jul 5, 2010]
For this version I rewrote the whole application around the code of my other tool called "TemplateShaker". That gives me better way to implement more menus in future. There are too many changes in this version. Some of them: removed old menus (the javascript one, the single-level menus). Horizontal and vertical menus rewritten, so now they both support more sub-levels (sub-menus). The css code rewritten several times in the last months to get it working in all test platforms/browsers (and this time I made even more tests in IE6/7/8, FF2/3, OPERA9, Safari 3 and 4 and different OS (win, Linux, Mac OS X); Another long-waited feature, the save/load button is now here. The help info is now integrated in the program itself. Two new versions of the menus, with background images instead of just colors, are here in the pro version and some other changes but the list will become really long, so I will stop here...
