The Data-On-Demand ListBox is a subclass of the native REAL Studio (formerly REALbasic) ListBox. It is similar to the ListBox in terms of user experience, but the programmer does not need to store any data. Instead, the programmer is responsible for providing data row-by-row when requested. This makes the Data-On-Demand ListBox faster in populating large amounts of data and does not require the programmer to coordinate changes between the data and the ListBox.
