Plot

Life was good.Things were looking up for you, your beautiful wife Elise, and your two daughters, Dominique and Morrigan. You had been working on the opportunity of a lifetime, and were sitting pretty. This was before the fire.

Now, months later, you struggle. You struggle to cope with the loss of Elise and your home. Despite all of this uncertainty, you work to maintain a relationship with what is left of your family. As everyone adjusts to living in a new home, in the young but lively city of Los Destino’s, the days to come will surely challenge who you are on a fundamental level. The question is: Are you prepared to face reality, and expose the parts of yourself that hide behind the common deceptions of the world we live in, and face the events that will shake the very foundations of society?

Biography: The child of an army officer stationed abroad, our Herogrew up with a very tumultuous, uncertain childhood. After his Father divorced his Mother while he was still in diapers, the Protagonisthad only his grandfather as anything resembling a stable Father-figure. Due to this being the only stable thing in his formative years, he very quickly grasped on to the rational idealism of his Grandfather, building upon it in adulthood, after dealing with teenage years marked by existential dread, and poor decisions. With zero tolerance for actions driven only by emotion, he usually finds himself idealistically at odds with most people he meets.

Since the suspicious fire that took his wife from him, he has found himself in a position of being a single parent. Now having to raise two energetic and independent daughters by himself, he finds himself in a state of introspection quite often, as he contemplates the sort of world he wants to children to find their way in. With the AI contract from Nile Synthetics, he sees an opportunity to not only re-secure his financial stability, but influence the world on a larger scale, for the better.

Biography: The Protagonist's oldest daughter, Dominique is a girl that always speaks her mind. Like her mother, she is prone to saying crass things without much regard for how people will react. Interestingly, this detached façade vanishes when she is directly confronted. In these situations, she tends to let her emotions get the better of her. Since the death of her mother and the loss of her old home, she has shown a subdued and introspective attitude.

Morrigan

Biography: Morrigan is the youngest daughter of the Protagonist, and just barely 13 months younger than Dominique. With a no-nonsense attitude and a fiery temper to back it up, Morrigan has a history of having few friends. Living in the city has helped her cope with the death of her mother, and she has resolved to try and control her haughty personality with the hope of forming new friendships.

Biography: The oldest child of the Protagonist, Thomas was born after his Fatherhad an ill-advised fling with an unstable woman. After a nasty legal battle over custody, Thomas was put under his Father’s care when it was discovered that his Mother was molding him into a forced participant of her grotesque and perverse lifestyle. This instability in his early childhood as left Thomas a depressed wreck, despite the best efforts of his Father and Stepmother, Elise. Due to an argument with his father several years ago, Thomas has not been in contact since he received news about the fire and death of Elise.

Carmina Vaca

Biography: Carmina immigrated when she was a young child, where she met the Protagonist at school. She is a loyal, lifelong friend with a strong moral compass. Though she is a couple of years younger than her friend, Carmina has a strong matronly attitude, and sometimes chastises her friend the same way a protective mother might. Presently, she is working with her old friendon a major contract for Nile Synthetics, where she handles legal matters that might otherwise cause problems. She is an expert at navigating the legal system, and has been an invaluable legal advisor and ally.

Naomi Thelusma

Biography: Naomi is a woman who knows what she wants. After graduating early from high school, she immediately applied, and been admitted to, the Los Destino’s Academy of Engineering and Science. During her time at the school, she has secured her place at the top of her class. She is now on the verge of completing her education, where she intends to work for the company of her idol, and serve as an engineer in the latest ships to venture into space.
