DateLine is an excellent app that puts your calendar on your desktop. It shows a very streamlined time line that shows the days of the month on your desktop. You can double click any day to open iCAL and see your whole day there, or you can opt to show events and tasks to do on your desktop as well. There are quite a few different themes available and you can customize them in many ways.
The DateLine that appears on your desktop can be customized to be shown only on top of your desktop, on top of running applications or on top of floating windows. You can also drag around the screen to put it wherever you want. There is a lock feature that disables dragging. If you find a great wallpaper that has some space for a dateline, you can simply lock this in place so it becomes a part of your wallpaper. You can either use it horizontally or vertically by changing the theme.
You can show up to 69 days in the DateLine, but you can also customize it to only show 10, for example. The current day is always highlighted so it is easy to find.
All in all, for only $5.99, DateLine brings you a great way of showing you upcoming events from your desktop or even on top of your applications. It is beautifully crafted and it works well.
