Decloner is a duplicate finder for Mac computers that provides you with a simple way to clean up your media library of file copies and reclaim disk space on your Mac. The application brings you an efficient duplicate detection engine, provides you with results in a few moments, and auto-selects the unnecessary file copies for deletion.
All you need to do in order to work with this Mac tool is to select the folder you wish to scan for duplicates and wait for the results. Once the scanning process is complete, the application provides you with a list containing the duplicates and their corresponding original file.
One of the changes made to this app release is the renaming of the built-in Trash utility to Staging Area. Therefore, you will now move the unnecessary file copies to Staging Area from where you can either permanently delete them from your Mac or send them back to the results window.
Another good aspect about Decloner is the fact that it offers you various filters to organize the found duplicates and help you decide which of the file copies need to be removed from your Mac.
To sum things up, Decloner proves to be a smart addition to my collection of programs. This application provides you with an accurate duplicates search, brings you a comprehensive help guide, and comes at a fair price.
