DetectX is a desktop application for macOS, equipped with various tools that allow it to find and remove key loggers, malware, files blocked by the macOS protection system, and many more.

Visually, the app looks rather simple, being comprised of a Status section and other common menu tabs. The menu icons look modern and so is the text style. There are no custom themes or extra customizations, but memory usage is low.

As per the app's functionalities, DetectX is capable of displaying the results in form of a list, so the users can easily view them and move them to Trash by using the drag and drop movement.

The app is equipped with advanced heuristics that have the role to alert users whenever it detects problems. The detected files are not automatically deleted but processed to a Control screen where users can choose either to keep them quarantine or delete them.

One cool functionality is represented by the integrated command line, which embeds tools for network admins and advanced users.

Overall, DetectX is a reliable tool to use when having to find and remove unwanted files and programs from your system. Some buttons could've been bigger but this only a minor con. Download the app and give a try.
