Direct Mail is a program designed for Mac users who wish to create and send professional-looking emails to their clients, co-workers or friends. This application might prove to be of good use to people who are involved in marketing campaigns for their companies and wish to deliver emails containing event invitations, information regarding a certain product, and many others.
The utility provides you with a great deal of beautiful templates for creating party invitations, wedding announcements, new address notices, formal invites or Thank You letters. After you select the preferred template, you can start personalizing it by adding your own text content, images if necessary, and recipient's email address.
I like the fact that you can preview the email before sending it to the selected recipient. Furthermore, the application features two tests: Design (you can check how the email will be seen in various email clients, like Outlook, Gmail, etc.) and Spam (lets you know if your message will run into any spam filter).
Another good aspect about this program is that it allows you to import contacts from various sources, such as CSV files, Microsoft Excel documents, Mac's default address book app (called Contacts), etc.
Other than that, not much more can be said about Direct Mail. This application is very simple to handle, offers you numerous features, and brings you dozens of nicely-designed templates to use in your emails.
