DiskCatalogMaker was designed to help Mac users analyze and inventory the data being stored on their local drives, USB sticks, CDs, and DVDs. The program supports batch processing, provides you with accurate reports and is compatible with various types of data storage containers.
To analyze a disk, simply select it from the Activity window and start the scanning process. The utility will provide you with the information you need within moments, even when analyzing large-sized disks. You can browse the directories being stored in the scanned drive and get access to detailed information about the folders within the disk.
You also have access to a built-in search tool that helps you immediately locate folders and files.
Once you finish analyzing the data within the scanned disk, you can print the report or export it with just a few clicks.
If you ask me, it's worth buying DiskCatalogMaker only if you plan on using its features often. Otherwise, I'd suggest you try cheaper alternatives. There are a couple of disk analyzers that are open source and distributed for free.
