DiskKeeper Advanced Cleaner is a program designed for Mac that helps you remove unnecessary files from your computer and reclaim space on your drives. You can use this simple application to clear junk, log, and cache files from your local directories.
The utility features a nicely-designed and intuitive interface that shows the amount of free space you have left on your drive. You can choose which type of data to be found and removed from your computer. For example, the app can erase browser data and user cache files, empty Trash, delete hidden DS_Store folders, etc.
DiskKeeper Advanced Cleaner scans and cleans up any folder location within moments. Plus, it uses a very small amount of CPU resources while scanning and reclaiming disk space.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend you use this application if you really want to reclaim space on your drives and clean up unnecessary files. You can find plenty of other programs (for example DiskKeeper Pro created by the same developer) that provide you with more features. For instance, other cleanup tools also help you find and delete duplicated files or large documents, uninstall programs, etc.
Another aspect I don't like is the fact that if you wish to scan another folder location after you cleaned up a directory, you need to restart the application to begin another scanning process.
As a conclusion, you should try a different app if you wish to efficiently reclaim disk space and remove unnecessary data from your Mac.
