A different kind of adventure

Players are in it for a different kind of challenge with Dr. Mario World. This game is far from the usual platformer, adventure gameplay that everyone’s favorite plumber is usually found in. This time Mario dons on a white lab coat and guides you through a fun yet challenging puzzle game. Here in Dr. Mario World, players will have to get rid oficky viruses by matching capsules on the puzzle board.

Prevention is better than cure!

The game begins with the appearance of colorful viruses in Dr. Mario’s World, and the only way to cure them is through matching their colors with equally colorful healing capsules. Dr. Mario is a matching type puzzle game where players need to place capsules that have the same color combination as the viruses located at the very top of the board.

During the first few rounds, placing capsules against same-colored viruses will be easy. But as players progress through the levels, it will be harder to reach the viruses because of random obstacles on the board. Blocks will prevent players from dragging the capsules straight to those pesky viruses. However, players need not worry because you can rotate the capsules horizontally or vertically. You only need to note that expertly navigating them around the obstacles and blocks will be entirely up to your skills. The game also offers the added challenge of having limited capsules. But, players will have to use them wisely and make sure to eliminate as many viruses as possible with just one capsule.

Meet the staff on duty

Other characters from the famous Mario games are also present here in Dr. Mario, including Dr. Peach and even Dr. Bowser. Players can change their game characters with the added bonus of using special skills that Mario’s friends have. This makes each stage even more exciting, and players will find that some special skills are useful on some levels. Clearing levels and stages will bring players to other worlds that are also plagued by viruses. Visiting new worlds also gives players a chance to meet new doctors and even their assistants!

Take a chill pill

It is really refreshing to see Mario not jumping around and stepping on Koopas’ heads here in Dr. Mario World. Players can just sit and relax while trying to match the pills with the viruses. Dr. Mario World is enjoyable and can be played by anyone without breaking a sweat.
