Drag2DV lets you convert a video file to DV by simply dragging and dropping. Works with many videos dragged at once. Very useful for videos taken with Sony photo cameras that iMovie or FinalCut do convert but without sound. Also, unlike similar apps this one is free! This version is PAL only, watch for further versionsthat will support NTSC.
