Set in a modern day Earth AU where dragons disguise themselves as humans so that the two species can live side-by-side in harmony. Dragon Roommates is a visual novel depicting the relationships between an ordinary human and their two dragon roommates as they engage in a polyamorous romance.
Version 1.3.1 contains over 130,000 words of dialogue.

Choose between SFW and NSFW versions of the game.
- SFW version is a censored alteration of the game for ages 13 + and/or anyone who is uncomfortable with mature romance. It will limit some interactions and options with the love interests. However, the story will contain light romance with occasional physical contact (hand holding, hugging, kissing, etc).
- NSFW version is for ages 18+ only. Containing consensual sexual content between the MC and their partners.
Warning! Even if you choose to play the sfw version, the game directory will still contain mature content in labeled NSFW folders. DO NOT open these folders if you are under the age of 18 or uncomfortable with sexual images. Thank you!
Choose your Roommates
At the beginning of the game, you can choose 2 of the 4 optional roommates:
- Wisteria and Nixie as your two girlfriends.
- or -
- Griffin and Ignis as your two boyfriends.
All relationships are 100% consensual.There is no "break up" option in Dragon Roommates. If you wish to change your love interests, you'll have to start a new game.The remaining two characters not chosen as roommates will still make occasional appearances in the story as friends/minor characters, but will not be available as love interests.

Backstory: An ordinary human who's had bad luck when it comes to romance. Despite being on a number of sporadic dates throughout the years, none of them have led to anything worth mentioning. One night, coming home after a particularly cringe-worthy date, they seek solace in the company of their roommates sparking a chain of events that spiral into an unexpected love triangle. Perhaps the special someone they've been looking for has been living under the same roof all along ...
Roomate #1 - Ignis
Pronouns: He / Him
Sexual Orientation: Demisexual. "All I know is you're the one I want to be with."

Powers: Fire
Age: 21
Job: Freelance Artist
Interests: Art, horror flicks, lifting weights, roller coasters, video games,animals
Personality: Tsundere. Hot-headed Ignis has difficulty expressing himself which causes him to come off as immature. In reality he is introverted and socially awkward. Despite his moodiness, he possesses a passion for creating beautiful works of art. He has a unique way of looking at that world, even if he is hesitant to share his perspective with others. Kind, loyal, and sensitive, you won't find a more affectionate partner than Ignis.
Backstory: When you were five years old, you found a peculiar red lizard with wings. When you took it home, begging your parents to let you keep him as a pet, little did you know that lizard would turn out to be a fire-breathing dragon!
Roomate #2 - Griffin
Pronouns: He / Him
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual. "Some girls are cute. Some guys are hot. None of them are as lovely as you."
Scale Color: Blue
Powers: Lightning
Age: 27
Job: Personal Trainer
Interests: Cooking, sports, running, giving advice, hanging out with friends, romance
Personality: Charismatic, outgoing, and flirty, Griffin has had a variety of relationships in the past, though they rarely lasted over a month. Despite his carefree attitude towards life, he's a kind, nurturing, and fun-loving person. He prefers to live in the moment, rather than mourning the past or worrying about the future.
Backstory: You met a few years ago through Ignis, when he decided to join the local gym where Griffin works as a personal trainer. Since moving in together about a year ago, you've come to see Griffin as someone who's easy to talk to and confide in. The two of you became fast friends. Whenever you feel the need for advice—especially in terms of romance—he's always there to lend an ear or a shoulder for you to lean on.
Roommate #3 - Wisteria
Pronouns: She / Her
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual. "I've never paid much attention to physical appearances. I'm more interested in discovering what's inside your heart."
Scale Color: Purple
Powers: Plants
Age: Unknown
Job: Florist
Interests: Gardening, flowers, cooking, shopping, clothes, sewing, cleaning, magic
Personality: Calm, inquisitive, and intelligent. Having lived most of her life as a wild dragon, Wisteria is a little clueless when it comes to the ways of humans, however she is eager to learn more about them. She possesses an affinity for the natural world, specifically plants and animals. She is graceful, dignified, polite, sophisticated, and likes to keep her personal living space clean and tidy.
Backstory: Before she met you, Wisteria used to live alone in the woods and didn't interact much with other people, aside from occasionally offering natural homemade remedies. Eventually the two of you became good friends and you convinced her to move closer to the city. She even started her own business as a florist, a job which comes naturally to her, given her magical abilities and expertise.
Roommate #4 - Nixie
Pronouns: She / Her
Sexual Orientation: Unlabeled. "Let's not over complicate this. I'm happy, as long as I have you."
Scale Color: Aqua
Powers: Water
Age: 25
Job: Lifeguard
Interests: Swimming, relaxing, people-watching, ocean, history, reading, making friends
Personality: A cheerful tomboy who loves anything and everything to do with the ocean. She is very athletic, and—it comes as no surprise—her favorite recreational activity is swimming. Most of her time is spent at the beach, regardless of whether or not she's on duty. Though she can be a little outspoken at times, she's fiercely loyal and reliable.
Backstory: You know that one spunky dragon-girl you've known since gradeschool? The one you somehow managed to get stuck in the same class with year after year after year? Well, for better or worse, the two of you became BFFs and now you can't imagine what your life would be like without her.
