DroPic is a simple Mac application that enables you to resize photos with minimum effort. This program supports various image formats, such as JPEG, PNG, PSD, and TIFF, brings you several resizing profiles, and offers quality results in just a few moments.
After you drag-and-drop the picture you wish to resize over the app's main window, you can choose between four output profiles: Small, Medium, Large, and XLarge. This utility shows the original image size and lets you preview the photo before launching the resizing process.
In my testing, it didn't took long for the app to offer me the output files. I tried the tool on four types of image formats (PNG, TIFF, JPEG, and DNG) and results proved to be high-quality.
An important disadvantage of this program is the fact that it doesn't allow you to set your own resizing parameters. More exactly, you can use only the pre-defined output profiles: 256 x 194, 512 x 389, 800 x 607, and 1024 x 778.
To sum things up, DroPic is an easy-to-use image manipulation tool that helps you change the size of your photos. Nevertheless, if the aforementioned flaw proves to be important to you, my suggestion for you is to find more capable picture resizing applications.
