Duplicate Cleaner Pro does exactly what its name implies: removes duplicated files from your PC. The program provides you with a comprehensive help manual, gives you access to a wide variety of scan filters, and takes a small amount of time to complete the search tasks.
This type of Windows utilities proves to be of good use when dealing with large media collections and you wish to immediately identify and get rid of similar files. Photographers with massive stacks of pictures will most likely find this tool pretty useful as the program comes with a separate scan profile with filters for locating images with similar resolutions, aspect ratio, tags, etc.
Duplicate Cleaner Pro takes a small amount of time to complete the scanning process, even when selecting large scan locations and various filters. You can choose between multiple sorting options for the results list and configure the program to automatically mark the similar files for deletion.
A disadvantage is that the utility might occasionally fail to indicate actual duplicates, so check the results list carefully before deleting any files. Furthermore, the Preview tool didn't work properly; it failed to display some of the selected duplicates. Another thing I didn't like about this program was the appearance of its interface, but that's just a personal point of view.
Still, the program can be tested for a period of time, without any charges. So, you should give it a try, see how it works on your PC, and then decide if it's worth buying it or look for a different duplicate finder.
