Duplicate Photos Fixer is a Mac utility that enables you to locate and delete similar pictures from your computer. The application features a straightforward interface, immediately completes the scanning process, and comes without a price.
You can scan a folder within your Mac, your Photos library or a certain amount of pictures from your local directories. The app lets you choose between multiple filtering options and immediately gives you access to the results you need.
Furthermore, you can preview the found duplicates and easily find out which are the original files.
Sadly, the application comes with two important flaws. Firstly, it sends the deleted duplicates to Trash instead of completely removing them from your Mac. Secondly, you can delete a limited amount of photo duplicates. Another application from the same developer doesn't bring you the latter disadvantage, but it comes with a price.
In conclusion, I don't think it's worth installing this free program on your Mac. You can easily find better solutions. You can either buy the developer's alternative or look for a duplicate finder created by a different software company.
