Dutch Windmill 3D is a screensaver featuring perhaps the most characteristic buildings of Northern Europe: the windmills. It shows several realistic 3D moving images of bucolic Dutch landscapes in different settings: lakeshores, the country and even an aerial view, all with sounds. The screensaver is very customizable: you can enable/disable the sounds and/or music, set their volume, the aspect ratio of your monitor, and you can even add your favourite songs and music pieces to a list of music which will play when the screensaver is active. Also, you can take instant screenshots of the images and save them with a simple keystroke. If you have a conventional monitor, you can choose to emulate the widescreen ratio for enjoying a wider view of the graphics.
The shareware version presents a "nag screen" after certain time. If you like the screensaver and want to use it without that screen, you must purchase a license. If you enjoy nature and soothing images, this screensaver would be a good addition to your collection.
