Views and records the channels streaming on TV tuners connected through USB or PCI. Includes a channel browser to quickly navigate from one channel to the other, and a multi-channel scheduler to program it to record only at specific hours on a day or for the whole day.
This program allows you to see TV satellite programs. In the main window you can see at the center the video window. At the left is the channel list. At the bottom is the channel information about the channel you are watching (level and signal quality, frequency, etc.), volume and mute controls. At the top are some buttons you can open a file recorded, change channels (back and forward), use full screen mode, TV window mode (to watch a channel while working with other applications), open preferences, video settings, record video, use render-less mode, open the scheduler, and electronic program guide. The channel list helps you to see what channels are available, free to air (blue colored), if it is a data channel (green colored), etc. In the tab favorites you can order by categories the channels you desire. To scan channels you have to go to channels menu and select scan option. You can use auto scan but it is better if you open the advanced scan tab and select "Activate Scan Nearly" in order to obtain more channels. After installing the software you have to select the device, select record format (TS or MPG), remote control type, write down an user name (used for report feeds), select the options you desire from the module list, configure video and audio codecs and renderer. Minimum system requirements: Windows XP, 2000, Directx 9.0 , MPEG-2 codecs (these codecs can be found in http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/), and 28.8Mb of free disk space.
