DVD Profiler helps you organize your video collection in many ways. It has the advantage of allowing the user to manage the related database from a single place, which lets him use various types of devices and their respective operating systems. Thus, the product has versions for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS and Android. The application has a very nice interface; yet, for some inexperienced users, it may look too crowded with options. It is good that it allows customizing skins.
DVD Profiler lets you add video in practically every format available. New entries can be made manually or in an automatic mode. Thus, the program connects to an online database to fill in all the required fields for you. This happens when you scan the movie’s barcode or provide its title. Luckily, the application lets you manage virtually any data you can wish to have about a movie, including title, posters, cast and synopsis. Moreover, you can add custom tags should you want to.
Other important features of this product are that it includes a loan manager to help you keep track of the discs your friends borrow from you. Likewise, it also lets you create a wish list of the movies you would like to have. Fortunately, some additional features can be added by installing plugins.
All in all, DVD Profiler has plenty of features and works on various platforms. It is probably one of the best programs of its type available. If you have a large difficult-to-manage movie collection, you should definitely take a look at this product.
