How many times has anyone purchased a DVD or Blu-Ray movie just to encounter that the system or more specifically the drive is not compatible with the region and has to be switched? It’s assumable that at least once this has happened to most users, plus there’s also the limitation of switching the region of the drive for 5 times only. With DVDFab Passkey Windows users will be able to unlock the region codes from any movie.
This program works while playing a DVD or Blu-ray, working closely with all popular media players and rippers like Windows Media and DVDFab HD Decrypter (from the same company). The fact that it’s free (at least until the final version arrives), and has other capabilities, like decrypting popular movie protections and changing movie settings, makes this a great choice.
It also works with Nero, VLC, Roxio, Power DVD and other popular players. General options allow users to set language, check for updates automatically, change Movie playback order, remove region codes/encryption and more.
In this version, users will find that it allows watching Blu-ray discs without having a high definition graphics card and without a compliant display. Also it now has full Windows 7 and Full-HD video compatibility.
Other new features include a rewritten interface so any user can understand better all the functions. Also updates and corrections of the language files were made, plus an updated protection support was added to cover the newest security encryptions. Finally, there is the fact that users can choose to exclude specific drives from the program.
