DVDpedia is a Mac utility that enables you to catalog your DVD, Blu-ray, and VHS tape collection. This program might prove to be of good use if you're dealing with a large DVD collection and wish to quickly and easily create an inventory on your Mac computer.
You can also use this software to keep track of the DVDs or Blu-rays to borrow to your friends and family members. What's more, it provides you with a simple solution for keeping a record with the DVDs, Blu-rays or VHS tapes you plan on purchasing sometime in the future.
The program comes with a user-friendly interface, brings you a powerful search tool, and lets you export or print the stored information within moments. The integrated search utility helps you find details regarding the movie you wish to add to your collection, such as the names of the producers or actors, artwork, plot, etc.
Once you finish adding items to your inventory, you can export the stored info to your local directories and check the statistics panel to see some interesting aspects of your collection.
All in all, I can't find a single bad thing to say about this program. It does exactly what's being said on the homepage of the developer, without slowing down my Mac. It also comes at a very reasonable price.
