It is used for tasks such as terrain modeling, landscape visualization, surface analysis, contour mapping, 3D mapping, gridding, and more. It has features such as point, line, and polygon layers, the ability to add and edit points, lines, or polygons, and render types such as Simple, ClassBreak, and Categories according to the attribute table. Symbol layer types for point layers include Simple marker and Character marker, and fill types for polygon layers include Simple, Gradient, Hatch, and Picture.
