Easy Phone Sync is a utility that lets you sync your iTunes library with your Android device. It is a must-have tool for any user who has recently switched from an iPhone to an Android smartphone and wants to still be able to use the content stored in iTunes. It is a wizard-based application that guides the user through a series of easy steps. The first one is to select your Android device from a list. Once that is done, you are given the option of copying the entire music library, or, additionally, to only copy one or more playlists.
Easy Phone Sync can also copy your podcasts over to your Android device. Another interesting feature is this application's ability to read iTunes backup files and extract content such as SMSs, notes, and photos from them and transferring them to your Android phone.
I tested Easy Phone Sync in two different occasions. The first time, and even after numerous attempts, it failed to detect my Samsung Galaxy S3. I tried everything, but to no avail. Then I decided to give it another try after a few days and it worked like a charm. So maybe a system restart was necessary for it to detect my phone. Once I got it to recognize my phone, it was a piece of cake to transfer music to my Android. The music files were transferred directly to the Music folder on my internal phone memory. The process was fast and very smooth.
