Easy Photo Frame is a simple graphic editor whose main feature is that it allows you to add frames to your photos. The interface is quite simple, but it does have flaws. The icons are not designed according to existing conventions: for example, the rotate right and rotate left buttons can be easily mistaken for undoing or redoing changes, which may be a little disorienting at first. However, if you have any doubts regarding this program’s operation, you can consult the useful help documentation, which even includes an online Flash Tour. As a whole, the interface looks old-fashioned, which has a negative impact on an application intended for graphical design. In this respect, the designers could have been more creative.
In terms of features, do not expect too much from this program. However, keep in mind that it is meant to be easy, and keeping an application simple sometimes means deciding not to include too many options. As to the main function, you will find lots of frames and stamps that you can use to decorate the photo you have opened. These adornments are properly classified according to different themes, mostly festive. The photos can be further modified by means of cropping, resizing, removing red eyes, changing color or adding text. Similarly, you will also be able to apply basic effects like lens, gray, blur and wave.
As a whole, Easy Photo Frame is consistent with its purpose. However, I am pretty sure that you will find much better, even free, applications out there.
